Welcome to Deben Yacht Club, founded in 1838 on the beautiful River Deben in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Whether you are new to sailing or a seasoned racer, we are a welcoming and family friendly club. The Deben Yacht Club offers a full calendar of events throughout the sailing season including a mixture of dinghy & yacht racing, flotillas and leisure sailing, all supported by our safety boat team. We are an RYA Training Centre and offer a number of sailing training courses for cadets and adults as well as safety boat courses for members.
It’s easy to store and launch your boat – we have a large dinghy park, modern slipway and 21 moorings. If you don’t have a boat, we have over 30 club dinghies for members to hire including Toppers, Topper Argos, RS Qubas, RS Fevas, Laser and Wayfarers.
